Here are 15 short yet powerful duas you can recite daily. Each includes the Arabic, transliteration, and English meaning.


1. For Forgiveness

اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي
Allahummaghfirli
O Allah, forgive me.

Hadith: Reported in Sahih Muslim.


2. For Anxiety and Sorrow

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْهَمِّ وَالْحَزَنِ
Allahumma inni a’udhu bika minal-hammi wal-hazan
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from anxiety and grief.

3. For Rizq (Provision)

اللّهُمَّ اكْفِنِي بِحَلاَلِكَ عَنْ حَرَامِكَ، وَأَغْنِنِي بِفَضْلِكَ عَمَّنْ سِوَاكَ
Allahumma akfini bihalalika ‘an haramika, wa aghnini bifadhlika ‘amman siwaka
O Allah, suffice me with what You have allowed instead of what You have forbidden, and make me independent of all others besides You.

4. For Marriage (Finding a Righteous Spouse)

رَبِّ هَبْ لِي مِن لَّدُنكَ زَوْجًا صَالِحًا
Rabbi hab li min ladunka zawjan salihan
O my Lord, grant me from You a righteous spouse.


5. For Children

رَبِّ هَبْ لِي مِنَ الصَّالِحِينَ
Rabbi hab li minas-salihin
O my Lord! Grant me (a child) from among the righteous.

أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ

حَسْبُنَا اللَّهُ وَنِعْمَ الْوَكِيلُ
Hasbunallahu wa ni‘mal wakeel
Allah is sufficient for us, and He is the best disposer of affairs.

الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ عَلَى كُلِّ حَالٍ

Allahumma ‘afini fi badani, Allahumma ‘afini fi sam‘i, Allahumma ‘afini fi basari

لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ سُبْحَانَكَ، إِنِّي كُنْتُ مِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ
La ilaha illa anta subhanaka inni kuntu minaz-zalimin
There is no god but You, glory be to You. Verily, I was one of the wrongdoers.

اللَّهُمَّ لا سَهْلَ إِلَّا مَا جَعَلْتَهُ سَهْلًا
Allahumma la sahla illa ma ja‘altahu sahlan

بِاسْمِكَ اللَّهُمَّ أَحْيَا وَأَمُوتُ
Bismika Allahumma ahya wa amoot
In Your name, O Allah, I live and I die.

اللَّهُمَّ احْفَظْنِي مِنْ بَيْنِ يَدَيَّ وَمِنْ خَلْفِي
Allahumma ihfazni min bayni yadayya wa min khalfi
